Olmstead Resources on DOJ Guidance

Washington, D.C. -- June 28, 2011 -- "The Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law applauds President Obama's call to build on the promise of Olmstead to end discrimination against people with mental illnesses and other disabilities," stated Dr. Robert Bernstein, executive director of the Bazelon Center, regarding the President's statements on June 22 marking the 12th anniversary of the Supreme Court's Olmstead decision. describing the highlights of the U.S. Department of Justice's recent guidance on Olmstead. The guidance is part of a new DOJ resource online, Olmstead: Community Integration for Everyone.
