Tuesday, 29 January 2008
The Office of Adult Mental Health Services is looking for participants for a workgroup focused on consumer involvement in evaluation and quality improvement. This is a workgroup that will follow up on previous discussions about consumer participation in licensing and reviewing the impact of services on recovery. We are looking for 6-8 individuals who have some interest in evaluation and review processes and quality improvement. We will include some information and education for group members about types of evaluations and reviews, methods of evaluations,  the difference between individual, program and system outcomes and reviews, etc. This information will be useful in making informed recommendations. The workgroup will help develop recommendations for a plan for involving consumers in quality improvement. and the evaluation of recovery oriented system of care.  Interested individuals should be able to commit to approximately 3-4 meetings. Mileage reimbursement will be available and a stipend of $25 per meeting will be available.
